Creep - EP · 1992
Amp settings (as recorded)
The recording
The song was recorded at Courtyard Studios in Abingdon, UK, with producers Sean Slade and Paul Q. Kolderie. The distorted thuds in the chorus occurred when Jonny Greenwood, frustrated with the song, intentionally engaged his distortion pedal and played hard to sabotage the take; the band liked the sound so much that it was kept in the final mix.
