The recording
Recorded at Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire and 2fly Studios in Sheffield under producer Jim Abbiss. The production focused on capturing the band's frenetic live energy after previous sessions failed to do so. The guitar tone was achieved largely through real-time performances, utilizing the natural breakup of Hiwatt amplifiers bolstered by distortion pedals, with minimal studio effects beyond tape delay and built-in spring reverb.
