The recording
The song was recorded during the summer of 2006 for the band's second album, 'Favourite Worst Nightmare', across several London studios including Eastcote Studios and Miloco Garden. Produced by James Ford and Mike Crossey, the tracks captured the evolution of the band's sound, moving from the raw garage rock of their debut to a more defined, textured aesthetic. James Ford noted that the band brought their own vintage amps—specifically the Selmer Zodiac and Magnatone—which were often run simultaneously to create a dense yet articulate tone with natural vibrato.
