Recording “Walk” took place during the 1992 sessions for Vulgar Display of Power, produced and mixed by Terry Date. Dimebag Darrell’s rhythm track was captured by routing his Dean ML through a six‑band graphic EQ, a Furman PQ‑4 parametric EQ, and a Rocktron Guitar Silencer into a Randall RG100ES solid‑state head feeding a Randall 4×12 cabinet loaded with Celestion G12T‑75 speakers, giving the song its tight, aggressive crunch.
