The recording
Recorded at Ridge Farm Studios in West Sussex, England, produced by Max Norman. Randy Rhoads used his 1974 Les Paul Custom for the recording. The guitar parts were multi-tracked (double/triple-tracked) to create depth, and the amp was positioned in a stone room, captured with a combination of an SM58 on the cabinet and distant room mics. A digital AMS delay was utilized during the mixing stage to add a subtle shimmering texture to the rhythm tracks.
