The recording
Recorded at Nashville's historic RCA Studio A, the album 'Traveller' was produced by Dave Cobb and engineered by Vance Powell. The tracks were captured with the band playing live in the same room to maintain a raw, authentic energy, which is a hallmark of Stapleton's studio sound. The guitar parts for 'Parachute' were tracked through Stapleton’s preferred vintage Fender amplification, focusing on capture technique and natural performance dynamics rather than elaborate pedal chains.
