The recording
Recorded on November 24, 1982, at Down Town Studio in Los Angeles during the 'Texas Flood' sessions. Produced by the band and Richard Mullen (with John Hammond as executive producer), the band tracked live in a warehouse-like space to capture their raw, stage-based energy. Stevie preferred minimal isolation, and signature studio additions like the Roland Dimension D were applied during the mixing stage to enhance the guitar's width and body.
